Self-Honoring Healing Practices
Conscious Bodywork
When I regard my inner body
as a natural living space
that I get to listen and tend to,
like I would a garden,
then my relationship to my
stories and pain
becomes a loving experience
of self-respect.
Dolorcito Mio: my (sweet) little pain.
A Taste of What I Offer..
I use and combine holistic therapies that support our bodies' need for rest and to digest.
My goal is to help you transform how you are feeling in your body.
After every session, you can expect to enjoy atleast one, or all of these:
relief from pain, a better mood, improved bowel movements, mental clarity, and deeper sleep.
I like to incorporate meditations and exercises to integrate the shifts in your body and mind, hereinafter.
EASE-UP
When I start to feel on edge, I know it’s time for a massage. I never know how much armor I've generated, until it gets met halfway with an equal pressure. A Massage that is mindful and deep has the power to leave our inner troubles feeling validated. I love walking out with a new lightness in my step and softness in my heart.
Softening our tissues, muscles and fascia increases blood circulation, oxygen supply, and joint mobility. But most importnatly, it reminds our body what it's like to feel at ease again. Feeling good works exponentially; it can transform our hormonal chemistry, stabilize our mental and emotional states, and ultimately, enhance our body’s innate ability to heal.
SINK IN
A sensation of sinking into oneself often takes place during Craniosacral Therapy. "The more grounded you are, the higher you can fly," was something my mentor said. This feeling comes to life for me in these kinds of sessions; a profound settling in the physical body, accompanied with an elevating sense of expansiveness.
When our bodies access a state of parasympathetic response, it's like a reset takes place and a natural healing can occur. On a structural level, bones and joints decompress, finding greater alignment, while allowing nerves and fluids to flow more freely. On the level of the subconscious, tension and reciprocating thought patterns get a chance to downregulate and reorganize, bringing in a new sense of perception and clarity.
CLEANSE
It's best to keep our bodies free of cluter. There are three ways we naturally detoxify: through our sweat, our breath, and bowel movements. When any of those are clogged, we start to experience unfavorable symptoms.
Lymphatic drainage massage stimulates the movement of toxins our of areas that are prone to more congestion and inflammation.
Chi Nei Tsang treatments stimulate more space and around the organs, so that they can function with more vitality.
We breathe according to how we feel, tending to not breathe where it hurts or we dont want ot feel. Our shape then begins to take form according to where our breathing is restricted, thus affecting the quality of our organs.

My own desire for good health is what led me into the path of the healing arts. My work as a practitioner continues to be a constant, evolving embodiment of what I study, what my hands-on sessions inspire of me, and what I am able to access within myself.
The proficiency and skills that I’ve developed, I owe to:
-The World School of Massage, SF, where I completed a 600hr- core program in massage therapy, in 2011.
-A 700-hr hands-on intensive training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with Peggy Reynolds, from 2014-2016.
-And 2,000hrs+ of qigong meditation practice and hands-on teachings from Gilles Marin, since 2014 and ongoing.
More recently, I have been enthralled in the work of Carey Benenson, and her development of Biodynamic Osteopathic Threapy. Whats been alive in my practice since the moment I started, is the growing numbers of people experiencing: anxiety, depression, insomnia, autoimmune disorders, dementia, Parkinson’s and Lyme Disease. What keeps drawing me in and inviting me to go deeper is the validation of the work. I used to say that healing is a lifelong journey, and now I honor how precious it to help someone be well enough to just enjoy life today.
Amidst the ebbs and flows of my life, I enjoy:
taking care of my pets, plants, and people, creating things with used textiles and what others call "trash", cleaning and preserving spaces, taking the time to hang dry my clothes- while I think about my grandma, growing and harvesting food, being in and thinking about my dream state, and most of all, moments of mental quiet and groundedness, with glimpses of inner peace.
I think this quote says it all: “When we take care of our environment and the creatures who inhabit it, we are taking care of an important part of ourselves."
